Maintenance/Service
Whatever your needs, either regular maintenance, timing belt or check engine light diagnostic rest assured your Audi will be in good hands at German Automotive.
Audi and VW distinguish and will display two different type of services when due in the instrument cluster: "Oil service due" and "Service due".
The "Oil service due" consists of a minor oil service, that includes oil, filter, comprehensive inspection as per manufacturer's checklists and "Service due" involves a more in depth service often involving filter replacements, transmission service, spark plugs, etc, according to your mileage and Audi recommendations.
Older Audi engines were equipped with a timing belt that needs replacing at fixed intervals, some are hybrid, using timing belt and timing chains, and most bigger engines (supercharged and later V8s) are equipped with maintenance free timing chains.
With over two decades experience in VW there is little we can't tackle when it comes to your Volkswagen. Volkswagen and Audi distinguish and will display two different type of services when due in the instrument cluster: "Oil service due" and "Service due".

Is your VW diesel lacking power? A common problem is the turbocharger failure (wastegate actuator) and clogged up intake manifolds. While usually easy to diagnose, the repairs tend to be on the expensive side. The gasoline engine suffer for misfires due to failing ignition coils and timing chain issues, coolant leaks due to plastic thermostat housings.
